LegalTerms and conditions
Twelve short clauses covering the website, the estimate, the work and the money.
Last updated: October 2026
- Who we are. Cheyenne Mountain Junk Co. runs this website and the phone line for junk removal and cleanout work in Colorado Springs, El Paso County and Teller County, Colorado. We book the work. The hauling itself is done by independent local crews that carry general liability insurance and are registered to do business locally.
- No licence exists. Colorado does not issue a junk-removal trade licence, and neither we nor the crews claim one. Where a city or county business registration applies, the crew holds it.
- Figures on this site. The dollar amounts on our pages are 2026 budgeting ranges taken from national cost guides. They are not quotes and not a promise of a price.
- The price you pay. The price is the one the crew names after seeing the load, before anything is moved. You may refuse it with nothing owed. A refused price holds for thirty days unless the load changes.
- Payment. Most jobs are paid when the load is on the truck, by card, check, bank transfer or cash. Multi-day cleanouts are invoiced per visit. Any financing is arranged by a third-party lender on its own terms.
- What we won't take. Paint, solvents, oil, fuel, chemicals, pressurised tanks, asbestos and medical waste are refused, and the crew may refuse any item on the day for safety or legal reasons. Items that need a licensed handler, such as refrigerant appliances, are surcharged and routed accordingly.
- Your part. You confirm you have the right to dispose of what you ask us to take, that hot tubs and appliances are drained and powered off as our pages describe, and that anyone with authority over the property, an executor, a landlord, a guardian, has agreed.
- Donation and recycling. Usable items are routed to donation or recycling where possible. We don't guarantee that any particular item will be donated, name a recipient, or promise a diversion rate.
- Access and damage. The crew protects doorframes, floors and railings and works carefully on stairs and decks. If something is damaged, tell us the same day and the complaints policy applies.
- Scheduling. Windows are agreed by phone or text. Weather on the mountain side, a road closure or a crew emergency can move a window; we tell you as soon as we know.
- The website. Content here is general information about hauling in the Colorado Springs area, not legal, tax, environmental or safety advice for your situation. We may change these terms by posting a new version with a new date.
